This course explores the intersection of emotions and technology, focusing on how computers can recognize, interpret, and simulate human emotions. Students will learn the foundational theories of emotions, emotion recognition techniques, and modeling and synthesis methods. The course also covers the role of affective computing in user interaction, AI, robotics, and healthcare applications. Additionally, students will gain hands-on experience with the technologies and tools used in affective computing, preparing them to integrate emotional intelligence into modern systems.
